Welcome to Agee Equipment
In September of 1937 brothers-in-law, Anderson Agee and William Humphrey, formed D.L. Gooch and Company. Their goal was to aid the farmers of Garvin County in their efforts to produce and distribute crops by supplying them with top quality agricultural equipment and hardware supplies. Mr. John Long sold his business to them and they began selling the best product line available, John Deere. The original store was located in the building that sits on the corner of Chickasaw and Joy streets in downtown Pauls Valley. With the passing of Bill Humphrey in 1960, Anderson purchased Bill's share from his widow, Mamie and changed the name to Agee Equipment Company. The company's location has changed only once. In 1966 the Agee’s purchased land south of Pauls Valley on Highway 77 and constructed the current building. Through the years, members of three generations have worked at Agee Equipment including current president, Anderson Dave Agee, one of the original owner’s sons, who has been with Agee Equipment since 1966. Dave’s son, Jasen Reece Agee, came to work at Agee Equipment upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1988 and brought a fresh new look to the services offered at the store.
